Shrimp tank water change calculator
Choose water change, top-up, fix TDS, or prepare RO water. Estimate the water amount, keep TDS optional, and save the setup into Shrimp Tank as an active tank.

What this calculator does
The calculator helps shrimp keepers plan the care action they are doing now: a water change, an evaporation top-up, a small TDS correction, or prepared remineralized water for later use.
- Water change: estimate changed volume and optional replacement-water TDS.
- Top up: keep plain RO top-ups simple, with no remineralizer estimate when minerals are not being added.
- Fix TDS: plan a controlled correction and recheck the tank instead of chasing one number.
- Prepare water: estimate remineralizer dosing for RO water before adding it to the tank.
TDS guidance is optional for Neocaridina and most useful for Caridina, RO water, active substrate, and remineralized water routines.
Use TDS as context
TDS is a broad trend marker. It does not replace ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, GH, KH, pH, temperature, source-water notes, or careful observation.
Product estimates appear only when the workflow adds minerals. Plain RO top-ups stay focused on volume and observation.
